Spider-Man 3 marks the fourth game from developer Treyarch to feature Marvel's popular web-slinging superhero. So with Spider-Man 3 being the first game in the series to hit the current generation of consoles, you might expect something of a leap forward for the franchise--something to really wow Spider-Man fans and take the series in a new and exciting direction. No such luck, it seems. Spider-Man 3 is a lot like the last couple of Spider-Man games. Sure, it throws in a few new wrinkles to the combat system and adds some crazy God of War-esque contextual actions into the mix, but the core game is functionally the same as previous Spider-Man games, and the changes are a mixture of positive and problematic. Spider-Man 3 isn't altogether bad, but it has enough issues to prevent it from being wholly recommendable.

the upcoming action game based on this summer's Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Now 2K Games and developer Visual Concepts have given us a more in-depth look at the new game, which will hit shelves on June 15 (the same day the movie opens in theaters). The studio is still playing it quiet on the storyline in the film, but we think it's safe to surmise from the title that intergalactic hero the Silver Surfer will play a prominent role. However, as far as we know, you'll only control the core F4 team--Mr. Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Thing, and the Human Torch--as you battle through the game's various action stages.

The long awaited sequel to counter-strike, counter-strike source has finally hit the market. This multi-player only game is simple and consists of a Terrorists force and a Counter-Terrorists force. Their are two types of game objectives and game maps. Their are bomb maps in which the Terrorists are trying to bomb a target, and their are hostage maps in which the Counter-Terrorists are trying to save hostages.
This game is similar to the original, but is using a whole new, impressive engine. This engine allows for realistic gravity, life like graphics, and objects spread around the maps that act as they would in the real world. However, because of this new graphics engine, you will need a good processor and solid video card to see the full effects. This new graphics engine also includes something called HDR lighting. High dynamic range imaging (HDR) is a set of techniques that allow a far greater dynamic range of exposures (i.e a large difference between light and dark areas) than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention of HDR is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to the deepest shadows.
Counter-Strike Source uses familiar weapons and maps. The weapons are made to resemble weapons from real life like the glock, the m4a1, the ak47, and the awp.
